Hamburg, June 26, 2017 - The real estate company Becken is moving into its new headquarters in the specially renovated "Finnlandhaus" in Hamburg's city center on July 1, 2017. The Hamburg-based real estate company will occupy the top 4 floors with an office space of around 1,500 square meters. The refurbishment project will be completed at the same time as the neighboring new building "Esplace" at the end of the second quarter of 2017. Both properties are around 80 percent let in total. The other tenants will move into their office space in the third quarter of this year.

The listed "Finland House" from the 1960s has been revitalized in a modern and stylish way, offers around 5,600 square metres of total rental space and is owned by the Becken family. The style of the 1960s has been preserved and implemented both in the reconstruction of the original façade and in the modern interior of the building. The 50-meter-high office complex has 13 floors. At the same time as the "Finnlandhaus", the "Esplace" with around 5,800 square meters of office rental space will also be completed as its neighbor on the last available space in Hamburg's city centre. Together, the two office buildings form a timeless double. DGNB Gold certification is being sought for both projects.
